Howard Bentley Buick GMC's dealer principal has been appointed to the Buick GMC National Dealer Council, representing dealerships across the Southeast region.
Southeast Dealer Named to National Council
Taylor Bentley Conner will serve a three-year term on the 10-member Buick GMC National Dealer Council through 2028. She is one of two representatives selected from the Southeast.
The council provides a forum for collaboration between General Motors and its U.S. Buick GMC dealer network, bringing dealer input into brand strategy, operations and customer experience initiatives. Two dealers from each of five regions serve on the council and work with Buick GMC leadership on priorities affecting dealerships nationwide.
Dealer Performance and Industry Role
Under Conner’s leadership, Howard Bentley Buick GMC has been ranked the No. 1 GMC dealer in Alabama and No. 8 nationally. The dealership has also held the top Buick position in the state, supported by year-over-year sales growth and continued demand across Buick’s SUV lineup.
As a council member, Conner will represent franchised dealers in the Southeast, sharing dealer perspectives with GM leadership and participating in discussions around future vehicle strategies and brand initiatives.
“At Howard Bentley Buick GMC, we’ve learned that lasting success comes from putting customers first and investing in our people,” Conner said.
Howard Bentley Buick GMC has earned GMC Dealer of the Year recognition for 10 consecutive years and was named the top GMC and Buick dealer in Alabama in 2025.
Conner is the first female dealer principal at the dealership in the family legacy's third generation.
