COCONUT CREEK, Florida – MagniShield Protective Coatings, LLC, a leader in automotive surface preservation solutions and provider of Vehicle Appearance Protection Products and Programs to new and preowned vehicle retailers, announced the hiring of automotive F&I industry veteran Mackie Hughes as company President.
Mackie brings deep F&I business and vehicle appearance product and marketing experience to his new role, as well as a long history of success.

Hughes has over 25 years of industry management experience, including 17 years of appearance protection product and program development, training, implementation and sales execution experience at Simoniz USA, Inc, most recently as Division President.
“Mackie brings deep F&I business and vehicle appearance product and marketing experience to his new role, as well as a long history of success. He spent over a quarter of a century outperforming at every position in this industry segment, from his early days as a dealership F&I Manager, to his quick ascent to F&I Director and then General Manager. That’s a pretty impressive climb to the top, which he repeated when he moved to the provider side of the business, and quickly bolted from Salesperson to regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and ultimately to Company President,” said outgoing company President Jay Lighter. “We feel incredibly lucky to have Mackie on our team,” he continued. “His experience, track record, proven leadership and reputation speak for themselves. We are thrilled to have an executive of his caliber join us.”
