FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) named D&E Mitsubishi, located in Wilmington, North Carolina, as its second annual National Customer Experience Award winner. MMNA’s Customer Experience Award was created in 2020 to recognize the dealer partner with the highest-combined sales and customer-satisfaction scores.
D&E has been in business since 1947, and as a family owned and operated dealership, the team attributes its customer satisfaction expertise directly to that longevity. Additionally, the dealer actively participates in the Wilmington community by supporting local, philanthropic organizations, in an effort give back, build and maintain relationships that make doing business with D&E a positive experience for everyone.
“Mitsubishi Motors is the fastest-growing, non-luxury brand in the industry, and this can be attributed to the hard work of our dealer partners, like D&E Mitsubishi, who bring the brand to life for our customers,” said MMNA CEO Mark Chaffin. “Achieving record-breaking sales and successfully launching the all-new Outlander amid a pandemic simply would not have been possible without our dealer partners’ energy, enthusiasm and dedication to providing a world-class customer experience.”
The MMNA National Customer Experience Award combines Customer Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) program scores to determine rankings.
“Doing everything we can to show our customers that we’re here to help allowed us to make the most of the opportunity presented by Mitsubishi’s refreshed lineup, especially the all-new Outlander,” said Jeff Dubose, D&E Mitsubishi Dealer Principal. “We’re honored to have won the MMNA National Customer Experience Award and excited to continue building on the momentum we established last year, as we look ahead to launching the all-new Outlander PHEV.”
Even as the all-new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander continues to set sales records and earn awards, MMNA is preparing to launch an all-new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant of the vehicle in North America. The Outlander PHEV, which historically has been one of the best-selling PHEVs worldwide, underscores Mitsubishi's environmental commitment to reduce carbon emissions by 40 percent by 2030 and achieve a net-zero carbon footprint by 2050.
D&E Mitsubishi is located at 6220 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405, and can be reached by phone at (910) 799-4210, or online at https://www.demitsubishi.com.
