Some Mustang Owners Told to Park Them
Issue in thousands of vehicles could result in fire, company says in 'urgent' recall notice.

The Mustangs' clutch pressure lines might not be well-secured, leading to a domino effect that could result in fire.
Ford
A do-not-drive warning has been issued for more than 8,100 2024 Ford Mustangs due to an issue that presents risk of fire.
In what’s termed an “urgent” safety recall, Ford warns owners of the vehicles to park them until the problem is repaired.
It says the clutch pressure line might not be well-secured, leading to its contact with hot exhaust parts that can melt the line and result in break fluid leakage. The chain of events can cause a fire, indicates a recall notice on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website.
Ford dealers will repair the line if needed. The Detroit-area automaker is scheduled to mail recall notices to owners on Monday.
